i hate the sound of a saxophone especially in electronic/hiphop music.it felt really good to just delete every thing that had the word sax in it.there were 1500 hundred in all!! anyone else have certain sounds that make you cringe?

haha, yeah certain sounds repulse me. I hate chipmunk style pitched-up vocals, as well as the auto-tune effect. Shivers. Although I have not come across any such samples to delete in my library.

Sax alone can be thin, but a full horn section is very sonically powerful! But we all draw musicsl inspiration from different sources. and love me up on some tambourine, processed all nice like

The sax used to be one of my favorite instruments but that was in the 80s-90s.

That said it all depends on the context.

After seeing that clip, I don't ever want to hear a sax again.

I got the chris hein sax way way way back and it was.........ok. But mostly, like 90+% of samples, it never sounds right. It sounded "good" but not right.

Anyways, that clip. Good god, I'd rather listen to little wayne.
