Why does live save several instances of a instrument preset?

Post by feytus » Wed Dec 11, 2013 3:37 pm

I've configured my Blofeld to work with Live (and Push), and saved an external isntrument rack preset, as "Blofeld.adv". Turned off Live, turned it back on again, went into the preset list to grab Blofeld - and hey presto - there's another 6 instances of the Blofeld preset! Blofeld-1.adv, Blofeld-2.adv etc. Why on earth does it do that? Can I delete these without it causing any problems?

It's a minor niggle of course, but I'm a big fan of a clean work space, and it would clean up the process of saving instrument presets for the hardware synths I've got. :)

Ok, I probably messed up when trying to save the preset. I could probably just delete them, then. Thanks, man! :)
