Audio devices stop after Windows goes to sleep

Post by ycon » Fri Dec 13, 2013 8:52 am

Hi,

My audio devices all stop working after my PC (Windows 7 64Bit) goes into 'sleep' mode.

Devices are:
Audio controller [UCA 200]
Midi keyboard [Behringer UMX25]
Pad controller [Akai MPD26]

My other USB devices work fine so there's got to be a relation to something that controls all the audio.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Yup, I also have the same problem with my normal onboard audio jack out.

If Ableton is running and I put my computer to sleep, when it wakes again, audio device is disabled - not just for Ableton but anything that uses it. I always have to restart it.

Any clues, Ablecrew?

Thx

Not sure if this helps. It is a script that will setup the system so that when it goes to sleep the power stays on for the USB ports.

Good luck
