I've tried everything. They are there in the first place because I (stupidly) dragged all of my old component files over and tried to get the programs to "re-work" thinking those plug ins would "re-install". They don't work so I want to get rid of them completely so my browser isn't cluttered up with unwanted plug in names. One plug in that refuses to budge was Pianoteq 3.0.5 demo. When I double clicked on it to open it, I get an actual error message: "Missing bundle in file:///Library/ApplicationSupoort/Modartt/Pianoteq30 Trial/Pianoteq30Trial.bundle"
Then Live crashed.

Re: Can not delete plug ins
the plugins themselves are usually stored in folder inside /Library/Audio/Plugins

Re: Can not delete plug ins
most plugs install both AU and VST versions. did you delete the VSTs as well?
sometimes things also get installed in ~/Library/Audio, that is the library folder in your home directory. the easiest way to get to that is by holding down the Option key while you have the Go menu open in the Finder. you will see a Library folder pop up when you press option (it's hidden by default).
