Xone K2 rotary encoder skipping values when turning "down"

Post by 5meohd » Mon Dec 23, 2013 6:10 pm

I've been searching quite a bit.. even updated the firmware and I still have the issue.

Allen & Heath xone k2.. I'd like to actually use the encoders to turn things up and down or even move loop brackets/size.

What happens is.. going up in value its nice and smooth and then when going down it can jump anywhere from 5-50 values.

Happens with all encoders under all "latched layers", as well as when "latched layers" aren't being used.

anyone else having this issue?

same here, i really think that a&h missed out on a few things on that otherwise great controller.
Whatever, i have the same problem, on the way up its too smooth, you need to turn a lot until you reach max value, and on the way down it skips values.
Pleas fix dis!
maybe with remote scripts?

It is what it is, as long as you've selected the right Controller Type messages (think it's relative 2's from memory) then the controller does what it does...

Remote Scripting for it was a nightmare beyond imagination!
