Yikes, what happened here? You'd think we were discussing de-clawing cats.

Shall we ask Ableton_David to ban discussions of electronic music software?
lets get Dom to do it,

just once,

for old times sake

I don't understand your question. Over at KVR we've had the total skinny given by beta testers on bitwig. Gag order lifted quite some time ago.

Is that what you are asking?

yeah, i haven't got that impression here... hmmmm... i have a KVR login, i just don't really frequent the site. i figured garyboozy and Tarekith (and a ton of others) would have had more to say if it was lifted.

maybe that's a testament in and of itself

Well, I wouldn't recommend it if you haven't already.

It's a bunch of cat pics, joking around, a little upsettedness and some fairly hooligan charades in between the useful stuff (which I TOTALLY admit to being a part of  )

It's missing some useful things (like multiout vst and grouping) but has some lovely ways of handling midi.

Frankly, I can't live w/o the stuff it's missing, so though I'm glued to it for info, it's not ready to be any kinda live killer yet.

BTW, I wonder if those guys you mentioned are keeping that info out as respect to ableton.

^ could be. or maybe i just missed it. OR... maybe it's not all that and hardly worth mentioning  8O

still, like you... i'm curious but won't be making the switch. it's too expensive of an item for me to buy another DAW right now... any DAW. Live has more than what i need and i have Cubase 7, Logic 9, and FL Producer 11 Mac Edition, so i'm all set for the foreseeable future. when i finally can afford another nice bit of kit... it will be a new bass.

I'm a big fan of semiacoustic basses myself, here's a random one - the Hofner Hct 5007 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_-BRD94wEY

Seems like a nice bass for a quite reasonable price, at only double the cost of Bitwig

HOW DARE THEY !!!

It works well for me personally. I think I paid 599 for it.
