Beyer Dynamic DT770 Pro 80 Ohm headphones. wow.

on the side a Electro Harmonix Signal Pad and a Morley Twin Mix ABY box are great helpers to get my guitar/amp setup tightened up.

three weeks off work have been the best gift. time > money. outstanding weather around here with some amazing bike rides, life's been good.

I've come to realise that more gear won't improve my music. I can't remember if I bought my QuNeo in 2013, but I've hardly touched it since, either way. I did invest quite heavily in software, though, and went a little bonkers when all the fall/xmas/new years deals started popping out. I did a film score in December, where I could justify a lot of my purchases; it was particularly satisfying to finally use Damage.

That’s my main reason for upgrading to K9U. That and Action Strings.

I suppose that counts as a 2013 purchase because I “purchased” it the end of November, but it didn’t ship until December 31st. Scratch that, a shipping label was generated but it still hasn’t physically shipped according to tracking. :x

But I’m looking forward to playing with it. :)

Best money I spent was to get both my Rev2 Prophet 5 and Jupiter-8 serviced.

The joy of watching wav files being recorded and oh that sound... ;)

BAss Station 2. I am loving this thing. If I could only get something done with it rather than just sitting on the couch with headphones endlessly twiddling knobs for hours on end.

record endless hours of twiddling the one of these days spend endless hours making drum beats to the Bass Station twiddling. the best Happy Accidents happen in those first few hours/days with new gear.
