Awesome, thanks for passing that on. I've been a big Hopkins fan for years, and his new album is easily my favorite album in years.
I was actually at his show at the Crocodile in Seattle later after this video was filmed, it was really good. Nice to get a better view of what he was using, I couldn't see at all.

I'm a huge fan of Insides, especially Vessel and The Low Places; the latter is so hauntingly beautiful and subtle. If I could create one track like these I would be a happy guy.
As for the video, A lot of the time there seems to be a lot of fiddling around going on but the sound doesn't change. I've noticed this a lot with controllerist type acts, with Nosaj Thing being the biggest culprit. Is it a case of feeling like they need to put on a performance as all eyes are on one guy?
