Midi Track "Gone white" and not playing.

Post by debrice » Fri Jan 17, 2014 3:30 am

Had an issue this morning where my TOM track went white both in the arrangement and instrument sections. It's also not playing any sound. The record arm of the track also looks disabled and is unresponsive. Looks simple to fix but not sure how. Could anyone advise please?

Did you accidentally hit Zero while the track was selected?

When not typing a parameter in, Zero will turn devices, channels, or highlighted notes or clips off and on.

Thanks for pointing that out, I probably did as I had been deactivating some midi clips using 0!

Back to arrangement button. When you have something in session view it can override the arrangement (so it doesn't try to play arrangement and session clips at the same time)
- check you don't accidentally have something in the session view
- click the back to arrangement button (top right, three horizontal lines and an arrow on it) or there are pre-track buttons on the right hand side.
