Since I did the update , the browser only show me a partial content of my external HD,
therefore I cannot find some samples like I used to within the search.
something is wrong with abletonindex..
is there anyway to reindex ?
thanks
Osx Maverick and Live 9.1.1.

Re: 9.1.1 update problem with the browser
Hey People I fixed it.... I deducted that abletonindex was working in a too similar way to spotlight so , maybe , it depends by it.. so I went and reindexed my hard drive ( within spotlight preferences) and after 3 hours , everything is back to normal....
Thank You God for giving me a Brain.

I'm glad you got it sorted, I had to lol though at your last comment.
Live HAS indeed had issues with this kinda thing with updates. In past incarnations, I've had packs disappear

Re: 9.1.1 update problem with the browser
I'm having the same problem
-Mac pro, 10.8.5
I updated live 9.10 to 9.1.1 a few days ago
Yesterday I got the error message "database…malformed…"
I've spent 5 hours for re-indexing
What a waste fo time!
Why isnt there an option to disable indexing?
I just want to play my sample in sync like Live 8 browser did.
