...the m-audio Trigger Finger for example ships with live lite 4,
because i couldn't find anything about it on this homepage
i have some questions to that
-what limitations has this version?
-is it possible to upgrade to live 4(full)?
-what is the upgrade price?
ps: where is the german forum?

Maybe you could try : http://www.ableton.com/index.php?main=support-contact and expect they can answer fluently in the germanlanguage

that would be really niceUpgrade is $250 US I think
I'm going to guess it's more or less the same version as the microKontrol ships with.
In one session you may use only:
-6 tracks (only two MIDI tracks)
-1 return
-1 Ableton plug-in (unlimited VSTs and AUs)
-No control of external MIDI gear
That's it I think. Quite able little app really.
