hey,
im trying to load a few old songs i made years ago into live.
my problem is that over the time i switched from mac to windows and now live cant find the audio units, even though i have installed every plugin as vst.
the point is that if live would load the plugin on start up, it will most likely load the patch i was using back then too..
so i need a way to either load the plugin properly or is there any other way to find out what patch was loaded inside the audio units!?
regards
how to set up Live to load VST instead of AudioUnit?

Re: how to set up Live to load VST instead of AudioUnit?
One reason I use VST if at all possible, not to mention I can't put AUs into folders to organize them to my liking. Except Reaktor, because NI is a soulless, bloodless corporation (being cheeky) that will not let me move the Reaktor VST plugin to any folder, or suddenly DAWs can't find it. It's the only one I have that acts like this...
But I digress >.>
Pretty sure you can't do what you're trying to do. You can get OS X Snow Leopard from Apple for $20 still, you could try a VM and re-save all your Live Sets with VSTs.
Or find someone on a Mac that is willing to do it for you.

I don't 'produce.' I write music.
