Deleting muted MIDI notes

Hey guys-
First time poster here. I've been using Ableton for about a year and its by far my favorite DAW. Just had a quick question regarding MIDI note editing. Often times when I'm writing a melody, I like to duplicate a chord progression or a pad that I have into a separate MIDI clip. I then mute all of the notes in that clip and draw in, unmute, or use push basically overdub the mute notes. A really simple example:
Lets say I've got this chord progression that's eight bars, and it consists of a series of 1/8th notes horizontally. For my melody, I'd copy the clip, mute everything, and then selectively unmute some notes. This is fine and great for sketching out the melody, but the muted notes can really get in the way. Is there any functionality that will let me select only the muted notes and then delete those from the clip?
Thanks!
