It looks like a pretty amazing. Anyone pulled the trigger and purchased it?

Damn I hadn't seen how much it was. 8O

For that much the insides better be documented and unhidden. I think I'll write Maurizio and ask if that's the case.

Packs in general seem to be awfully expensive.

I'm game-- I just bought it. If a Hammond Organ has 9 oscillators and Dark Synth has 2048 I get a really good price to weight ratio with Dark Synth. Unfortunately it doesn't come in a beat up wood finish.

Would you mind hitting the Edit button and telling us how it looks inside?

Very, very cool. Keeping in mind that I'm just a hack, I think this is substantially more sophisticated than Operator. I'm not sure I can even describe the interface as it has a sizable device chain interface like usual and then another pop-up dialog with six more pages-- Spectrum, Pitch, Filter, Amp, Modulators, and Global. It took about 10 seconds to load the device and it seems both CPU and memory intensive. I placed 4 device tracks with about 4 simultaneous notes each and was running around 18% CPU (Windows CPU not Ableton CPU) on a 4820K @ 4.5Ghz. I browsed several of the presets and they're sonically all over the map from standard tones to sonic morph machines. Honestly if you like sound design, this would seem to be a must have. I'm sure I can't do it justice.

Here's a short file with a sample sound:

and a screenshot of the M4L patch (at least part of it)

Yeah. I'm particularly curious about the presets. The number of presets is reasonably high, I'd expect there to be a decent variety. I wish I wanted this haha

I need another synth like a hole in my head  (er, that's second hole)

I also kinda would like something that worked outside of live (I do have studio one also)

Sounds pretty cool, thanks for posting a sound and screenshot. Doesn't sound like a ridiculous performance hit imo....
Seems like they're kinda skimping on some info...2 little screenshots  but I'm thinking about it...
I've barely had time to beta test Dune 2 though...arg

I think with a little programming in Gen they could port it as a Max Player patch...unless for some reason it needs access to some Live API stuff which wouldn't be expected...

On general principles, I will pretty much buy anything from AmazingNoises. Their devices are wonderfully designed and have amazing possibilities for experimentation.

Just saying.

Excellent, just noticed the official Ableton ad for it as well.
Congrats on making a solid creation!
