The Great BitWig Migration
Re: The Great BitWig Migration
I just like learning about features on programs! In my world they can easily coexist. But I'd probably only use Bitwig as a trial/demo.
Unless it gets multitouch overlays.

Yea, it's gonna be a 'wait and see'. I beg for the day I can use Mint as my one and only OS.ze2be wrote:and vst developers start to release on this platform.. well its going to be interesting to follow the evolution. With Valve/Steam aka iTunes for games onboard the Linux user group might grow substantially over the next few years. Maybe BitWig will do the same for the music production industry.
Re: The Great BitWig Migration
when Mitnick hacks Bitwig we can download and nitpick and use it without paying shit.
free is tits. just sayin.

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
why are we even discussing this, didn't you hear the man? bitwig is OBJECTIVELY better than Live, and that is not an opinion. no room for discussion, then... let's all move along and leave Hec to his masturbatory certainty.
my industrial music made with Ableton Live (as DEAD WHEN I FOUND HER): https://deadwhenifoundher.bandcamp.com/
my dark jazz / noir music made with Ableton Live: https://michaelarthurholloway.bandcamp. ... guilt-noir

Awwwwwwww, that's no fun. It's much more fun to discuss it endlessly.
Here, have a cat pic.....it's the KVR way.....
PSYCH!
Nah, I leave that alone

BTW, the poll don't lie, pretty predictable results (and no, I don't believe that this being an ableton forum colors it)

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
Cant you just put a vst crossfader on the master, or a bus? If that is all thats holding you back it shold be easy to fix..kb420 wrote:I'm glad that there is some type of competition for Ableton. Competition seems to keep a company honest. Bitwig has one simple omission that makes it a deal breaker for me personally, and that is a "crossfader"!!!!
