Yeah, you make a good point, cheers!
Someone pointed out earlier that entering the DAW market in 2000 vs. 2014 is a vastly different undertaking.
most of us probably have cell phones with more processing power, and certainly more RAM, than the computers we used when Live was released.

Certain features in Bitwig are objectively better, still holds true. Another to add to that list is appearance. The UI is MUCH more pleasant to work with.
Some of the workflow innovations they've made are incredible. There's a fair share of quirks but once they polish this a little more there's no reason for me to personally use Ableton. This is going to be a phenomenal DAW.

No demo noise that i have noticed.
There is no demo noise. I posted that there was because I did not realize some of my vst plugins have reverted to demo mode in Bitwig. I assumed the noise was from Bitwig.
Ahh ok.. I still think not allowing people to fully test drive the software and actually try to make some music with it (no save and export) is disappointing. And it's a missed opportunity for them too.

How something appears to an individual is a subjective impression, not objective. Being more or less pleasant to work with is also a subjective judgement. Neither of these things can be compared objectively. The best you can do to compare subjective impressions is to study prederences of groups. One person stating their own subjective impression about something can never be used to prove that one thing is better than an another.

We've been down this road, hec's subjective opinion in his mind is objectively better, period!
