How long with the battery last with a MB pro running live 9

I am going on a 20 hour flight. Just wondering how much battery life I can expect with a new MB pro and live 9 running? Also how much will it kill the battery to have a QuNexus keyboard attached? I have been messing around for a few minutes and the battery is already down 5% so I'm thinking it would be dead in about 2 hours. Nothing like the 10 hours Apples says it will last. I'd be really happy if I got 5 house out of it.

I can get 6-7 hours if I'm just doing really light live stuff. If I'm running at 80% cpu though, expect an hour or less. Most decent flights these days have a power adaptor in the seats though, especially long hauls.

Probably only 3 hours. The apple reported time is just for casual web browsing. Anything CPU intensive (such as Live) is going to be significantly less.

I'm thinking 3 to 4 hours maybe a little longer. I'm only posting this bc in a previous/similar post I said that you'd get only about 2 hours which is definitely false. I usually charge my MBP when I'm using at my desk/control station lol, but I definitely worked for about a 1.5 hrs this weekend and I was maybe only down to 70/75% battery life left. So better than I initially thought, but you're not going to have any 8 hour or longer marathons on it. As some have just said, Apple says 8 hours but that's if you're casually surfing the web. Just take your charger with you, no big deal! I mean are you trying to compose a live set in the forest or a jungle? If so, mad respect!
