I think The Bridge may have supported it but no idea if The Bridge still works as Serrato and Ableton seem to have both lost interest.

- Add a RAM usage meter and finally general latency indicator
- Add native output for live internet broadcasting (because it is "Live" even so)

I would love to see Ableton plagiarise the best ideas from Bitwig. I played with it a bit, and I like the modulation it has, and the ability to see multiple tracks in one window. I'd love to see the reaction of Bitwig fanboys when their software of choice is ripped off.

I'd like to see different options for clip behaviour. Play again, play other etc are great, but I'd like to see more of this, I can't work out what else they could put in there, but I want it!

The MIDI editor is a bit awkward right now, would be good to see a more elegant way of increasing the size of that without all that empty screen real estate.

Operator could definitely do with an update, needs more modulation options. Even though I own FM8 and Bazille for FM needs, I do like Operator a lot.

I'd also like some of the bundled effects to be updated. Oh, it'd be great if Cytomic's The Drop was integrated into Live, and if it could replace the filters on Simpler/Sampler/Operator etc. even if it was just an option with the old filters included for backward compatibility.

Push 2 with more knobs, yes please. Maybe just knobs with screens for parameters names.

<edit>

I also want a built in solution to mapping VST instruments and FX easily to Push. I've used Ubermap and it works to a point, until you use complex stuff like Diva, Zebra etc. This is my number one request.

I would love The drop as a native device, and valhalla verbs.

Some new, some seconded

PDC Fixed
OMF support
Surround mixing
R128 loudness function on meters
Custom keyboard shortcuts
Strip Silence
Ripple delete (as in premiere pro)
Using CUDA for dsp would be awesome if possible

1. Pre Fader metering option
2. Ability to rename IO's
3. Edit audio in clip view
4. Bounce in place
5. Clip FX
6. Bigger waveform in browser and ability to grab sections of audio from the waveform, which can be dropped into session or arrange view.
7. Ability to undock GUI section and be able to re-arrange the GUI
8. Wider meters and bigger fader knob
9. Online collaboration and storage
10. Better stability and quicker loading times

Of note. I attended one of those Live seminars and asked about features etc.
The guy showed me that they do in fact take their email requests and organize them into a list. People at Ableton actually then decide which requests they would like to implement. So although posting here is doing nothing more than airing an opinion, if you really want your request email it to Ableton.

There a lot of usggestion on the beta site on improving metering that I would also love to see:

- Show RMS in the mixer along the peak meter.
- add a VU meter to the utility device
- Allow us to select the db scale: FS, k12, k14, etc..
- Live already has meters between plugs gainstaging could be very easy if those meters were colored.

more or less exactly what I would be looking for as well.

Then why even make a section in the forum called Feature Wishlist?! :x

For Ableton to return their focus to being far more about LIVE performance than a be all do all DAW. For me, that means:
- large improvements in managing user created presets/racks
- vast overhaul of the way that said presets can be recalled and loaded (glitch free!) into a set you are currently performing on.
- same as above but for audio clips (I've come to realize that unless you have the exact same track layout in every set (including track names), the audio clips cannot be batch selected and dragged from the browser into a current set, which means very little spontaneity is possible in a live setting)
- sandboxing would be welcomed
- updated suite instruments
- the ability to nest midi sequences and instruments inside of audio clips! Could make for some really cool launching capabilities.
- Reps from the company that actually interact with Ableton forum posters!

FL Studio 12 vector interface looking pretty slick.

Live interface is also vector based, since version 1

And yet somehow, it still sucks.

(hint: I wasn't referring to just the vector part)
