I've been messing around with Operators and have been building some very weird sounds. Today I thought to put a Saw wave through an LFO and have been messing around with a whole bunch of things like Macros and Pitch Envelopes - it always seems that I'll approach a well-found sound, but there will be just one thing off about it that I can't seem to figure out how to fix.
I watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3yrd2YvkUo and I figured that Modulating two frequencies together through Ableton might be the same concept that he was applying.
Anyway, glad to be on the board.
Edit: Oh, I got a question - I am listening to notes through my keyboard (whatever the keyboard-piano/clavichord functionality is called) and somehow have managed to have sporadically shifted it into the lower spectrum of the pitch ranges. How did I do this?
I also want to know how/if you can draw a Saw going up instead of down, and I once stumbled upon an Oscillator that looked something like this: http://imgur.com/5vIldUl , if you can help me figure out how to recreate similar conditions I would appreciate that. All I remember is that it was really dense - I really should have ctrl-z'd back to it. White Noise doesn't seem to lend me any clues, as the Oscillator field is left blank.
