can you automap more than 8 parameters with the Live API?

Most midi remote scripts offer the ability to control the first 8 parameters of whatever the blue hand is on, and then bank through the rest. Is it possible instantly access those other banks on the same controller?
For example I want to control the first 16 parameters of operator with something like:
assigning the best of bank to the top and the LFO to the bottom etc.
