Midi send "confirmation." Can I make it "click?"

Ok, this is a strange question, but is there a way for me to get some audio confirmation when I send a midi command? For instance, I use a soft step pedal to loop live. Because of the nature of the pedal when I step on it, it basically just sits there. No click, pop, or give of any sort. So I'm pretty sure I pressed the pad, but I'm not totally sure. So, I was wondering, when I send a midi message, is there a way of routing an audible click to my aux->In Ear Monitors? It'd make me feel oh so happy.

Thanks!

A thought that comes to mind is having a channel who's output goes to cue only, where you have an audio (or midi, whatever) clip that you can press play to -- then midi map your pedal's CC to trigger the clip.
Make sure to:
- Turn looping off on the clip
- In the clip's quantization menu, set quantize to "none"

Tim, the quantize to "none" makes it so the audio clip will fire immediately no matter what the global quant is set to, right?

Yep exactly. That way you have immediate, real-time feedback of when you click the pedal -- it won't wait for any subivision of time -- it just hits immediately when you press the pedal.
