Alternative to USB MIDI interface ?
Re: Alternative to USB MIDI interface ?
Since it's midi only, it's super reliable; never had problems.
Regarding sync, if you mean to sync microbrute sequences with Live's tempo that should be good; I don't use sync, I think it's better to have all the sequences in Live, not in the hardware.
Some user said about Live's sync problems but I don't know much about that.
It's a cool device because you will control up to 4 synths!

Great !
Regarding sync, one of the best feature of the MB is that its LFO would sync.
Also, i fill its sequencer on stage, this is a lot of fun..

Cool! I forgot lfos
Would be nice to hear some of your MB live recordings; let us know if you'll post them around.
In the meantime happy syncin'!

Yes, the MIDI Out port on the A-800 Pro is considered a separate addressable MIDI port. I have an A-300 Pro and use it all the time.chapelier fou wrote:(Oh, and i also have a Roland A-800 Pro, connected in usb. But i don't think i can use the MIDI output independently, can i ? )

there's a bunch of CV ins on the microbrute, right? You could use Expert Sleepers Silent Way to control them using your audio interface. The motu ultra light is ideal for this.
