Having audio effects applied to live tracks

Post by LeeBmY » Sat Jul 26, 2014 3:07 pm

I am trying to have audio effects applied on the go when I am performing live.

I am not quite sure how one should actually go around doing this, but I want to be performing live with a microphone and guitar amp being routed into an interface, then into Ableton Live 9 to get the audio effects applied and then out through the interface and to the speaker outputs.

Currently I am arming the tracks with the audio effects applied, then just hitting the Arrangement Record button. However, the audio being outputted does not have any of the audio effects.

Can anyone shed some light onto how one is supposed to do this? :(

Set the Monitor to In, instead of Auto, and disable (or blend) any internal mixing from your soundcard.
