What date did Novamusik give you? What's your spot in the line. I'm so tempted to predorder too.

They said Korg hasn't announced any dates yet, anything people read to the contrary is just speculation :)

Sampler will be "in 2015" per Korg website. I've read November for the other one (not official of course).

I've read October, November, and December on various sites so far. I think I'll just wait until I get a shipping notice, I'll post here when I do.

I look forward to your review and how it compares to the OP1 you were fawning over.

Are you getting both, or just the synth?!

Just the synth for now, we'll see about the sampler one after I have some time with that.

I was THIS close to buying an EMX-1 one again recently, I've owned one before and liked what it did for the most part. The only let down for me was the synth engine in some ways, and since this already improves on that, I'm willing to take the chance. Been waiting years to see Korg doa new proper groovebox, definitely something I want to try asap.

And of course, you can always cancel a preorder anyway.

A friend told me that Mistabishi's new album is done completely on the EMX 2, as he got one early

Wonder if it's true?!

You need to do a review of EMX-2 then I'll consider getting one ;)

Too bad they reduced the outputs to 2. Seriously reduces its place in the chain. Deal breaker. But used esx1s gonna see serious price drop i guess

Looks great, I can't wait. A very serious upgrade over the EMX-1, funny that he was using it in half time to get the same 8 bar pattern length though :)

SEM filter mmmmmmmmmm :D

Yeah, that Reverb really sounds nice.

I am even more interested in the sampling model; been going down the Found Sounds hole lately ;)
