Antares Harmony Engine Midi Control

Post by Hiroshimasunset » Tue Sep 16, 2014 9:51 pm

Hi,

Has anyone managed to sucessfully control Antares Harmony Engine Evo VST via Midi? I'm using Ableton 9.1.1 32bit. Harmony Engine is working on other modes, but I can't get my midi keyboard to control the harmony notes.

I've been setting up an analogue instrument on a midi track and then routing the audio from the midi track to the audio track with the vocal clip I want to affect with the Harmony Engine. I've got the Harmony Engine in the device chain of the Audio track with the vocal clip on it.

Perhpas I'm not routing things incorrectly?

Any help much appreciated.

the "dummny" midi track has to have nothing on it. No instruments or audio effects.

Then you set the midi output to the the track with Harmony Engine and select the plugin.
