Suitable for a remix? Producers look inside.

Producers, we're trying to decide if this track would be a candidate for a remix. The bpm is 120 and the key is Eb major - though it has a dark overtone. To listen go to www.myspace.com/portauthority and check out "The Rest Of My Life" we could hear an Involver "These Days" spin on it.

Let us know and we'll consider doing an open remix contest thingy.

This is definitely remix material. I could do great things with this I reckon. I can't say what though, don't want to give away ideas to the competition!

It's cool - we'll probably have other tracks in the future and maybe even something else from this Port Authority album which has lots of good songs.

Most labels are doing all remixes on spec now. If we had a contest and someone were to win they would get a percentage of the sales - which is better than most labels give now, most are flat fees period.
