Is there a way to trigger the Envelope via MIDI while using it on a VST Instrument Track without creating a separate MIDI Track ?
Don't think there is I can only get it working with a midi track.
Ok fair enough, why does the screenshot at the begin of the thread looks different than on the cytomic homepage ?

Cytomic only had the finished version ready for the ones that bought it.

Today Andy released another version with offline activation option and a demo with no time limit. You should be able to demo the new version now even if you already demoed the old version.

The new version won't automatically replace v1.04 beta so be warned. When you open your project it will say its missing The Drop. You will have to delete the old one from tracks and re put it in.

Beta version was usable for months not had any problems with it. Another version came out today 1.08 Andy says it's stable enough for production work so it's no longer in beta.

Just a quick heads up, you can keep the old version of The Drop in your plugin folder, just rename it to something else (eg "The Drop legacy.component" for the Mac AU version, or "The Drop legacy.dll" for the Win VST version) and then install the new one and you can run both at once, so your old projects will load exactly the same as they always have.

ctrl + shift + left/right = select between transients

I can't seem to get the midi trigger going. I have it in an fx rack on an instrument channel...any clues?

edit: never mind, figured it.

Cytomic has added a new filter to the The Drop an emulation of a filter from the Wasp. It's in beta testing.
