Yes I've seen a higher res shot of his max4Live devices.

There's a section on it marked 'K0 ffiB reAKe' under which there's a bunch of sliders with names like 'W.Licker' 'Early Works' '2004-2009' & 'Analog Glitch Bitch' right next to a button marked Rndmz.

I want.

Yuck, so Aphex Twin is the rather simple minded neigbourhood stoner dude?! Just read the first few paragraphs, but that was quite dissapointing gibberish.
Does it get any better, later?

And what's with the childish leet speak, are they 13 or something!?

Yeah right, your "neigbourhood stoner dude" wrote a whole pack of electronic tracks that redefined electronic music. Sure.
Maybe Richard and other creative people don't set out to impress people like you. And just do what they do not caring what other people thinks about it.
While I disagree with some viewpoints expressed in the interview, I revelled in the electronic music nerdy details, that are just too good to miss. Your set of expectations on artists does seem more than reasonably screwed up.

Does that mean that if you use old analog synths you're "living in the past". I certainly don't think so. It's not what you use or what year it was made. It's what you do with it.

I'm pretty sure Richard D James knows what he's doing with his music equipment. Do you know what you're doing with yours?
