automate presets?

is there a way to automate presets? id like to do this with reaktor5.
i also have a problem saving presets in non native plugins. when i save a preset, on lets say suppatrigga, i have to save it in a folder. and then when i want to load a preset, i have to go back to that folder to load the preset. is there a way to save the presets so that they show up in the dropdown menu in live? loading from a folder is cumbersome.
