after years of bugs and beta versions you are still feeding ableton banks.
It took me a while too realize, but at the end, I changed my direction.
I did this on purpose just to check how many of you still believe in this company.
Don't be blind, open your bloody eyes, that's my message!!!!
Happy you, enjoy your software, I won't bother you anymore.
Forgive me for calling you wankers, but I was really disappointed!!!
I mean it, happy music to everyone!

It's fine, I don't take it personally. Just a forum after all. I know when you run into showstopping bugs it can get real frustrating, especially if it occurs all the time. I've had a relatively smooth experience since version 5 though. Of course there are always bugs with most software, that's just the way it is, combined with different hardware etc.

We are feeding ableton yes, they are a business after all. I don't see a problem with them making a living making frankly awesome music software. Granted, some bugs and lack of features can sour the experience. I'm not some rabid fanboy, I've just had and am having great times making music with Live as the host. I grew up using shitty trackers, so I'm more than happy with the power we have now, warts n all.

There's a few features lacking, some that really annoy me, and a bug or two for me personally, but overall nothing showstopping.

What bugs are you experiencing?

For me it's not worth the upgrade.

i switch to cubase 7.5

ableton got me 2 years ago but nothing has improved really

wasted time and money on substandard daw

edit: i dont hate ableton live 9 but i think there are better programs for producing and if ableton live gets better maybe i would try to use it again but for now i dont really have faith in the company
