Really? I can fix MIDI latency?

Post by ntp » Mon Jun 13, 2005 6:12 pm

Okay, I read a lot of posts on this topic but many seemed to be 12+ months old.

I just upgraded to 4.1 and am enjoying the MIDI functionality. But, my external keyboard is being triggered way too early. I, too, have been looking all over for something to cause some latency on the MIDI being sent out of LIVE, but to no avail.

Is this really the bottom line? There is no fix for this right now?

the beta will be out soon, you know ;)

Seriously, live5 will have manual delays on all channels, from what I've heard.

I ended up putting manual delays on the MIDI clips.

Ugly, but effective.

Roll on 5...
