Ahh, that annoying lack of decibels, the perennial obsession of great composers. It aggravated Beethoven til his death. In despair, he wrote trance at 1/8th speed and named it the Moonlight Sonata.

And there's John Cage who also couldn't find a way how to make 4?33? loud enough for the dance circuit. Heck, Philips had to invent imprinting on a CD just so people know which side his song isn't on.

And Miles Davis, whose album, In A Loud Way had to be renamed, due to the same problem, and never achieved success. Take heart, you're in good company.

your mix is prolly fine
leave it at -6dB and export it
send it to a mastering engineer
or learn to master
its different

the last thing you need to worry about is the loudness man. Just...forget...about....it.
