tv sounds
I am looking to produce a very low budget tv show. I have ableton and push and a knowledge of how to use these things but I am having a heard time finding a "pack" that might make my life easy and contain sounds that are specifically made for television show types of production. For instance, laugh tracks, sounds used in news programming, sound effects, etc. Can anyone point me in a direction here? Thanks

I'm afraid there is no single library fitting your needs. Laughter should fit the show's locale or intended audience for example.jackblasto wrote:I am having a heard time finding a "pack" that might make my life easy and contain sounds that are specifically made for television show types of production.
Sounddogs may be a starting point: http://www.sounddogs.com/searchresults. ... rd=TV+SHOW
Above that I'd head over to the Gearsults Post Production forum! and ask people who do stuff like this for a living.

www.freesound.org is very good
Re: tv sounds
the internet archive is a good site too.
you have to dig....but you can find a lot of old stock audio and video footage that you are allowed to use in your own projects.

it's kind of an overwhelming site, but you can find some cool stuff.

there are also tons of sound effect libraries you can get from itunes or on cd.
