How to have a note play continuously when the clip is looped

Maschine can do this, where you have a note that carries over to the next section even though the clip is looped, so it still sustains. How to do this please? Thanks.

That depends on the instrument you are using and whether it is set to sustain or re-trigger.

If the loop start point is after the start of the note and the loop end point is before the end of the note then it will hold forever
