Pls Help Remote Script Masters - Launchpad Lock Rows

Hey Community

Last Days I bought a Launchpad Mini.
I use Henri David's "Launchpad95" Script and everything works perfectly.
BTW: I use Live 9.1.8 Suite

Now I want to customize the Session Mode:
Normally the Launchpad represents a Grid of 8x8 Slot with the "Red Focus Box" in Live.
But I just need to launch the Slots of Track 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19 and 22.
Is there a way to "split" that Focus Box so just the clips of that Tracks are launchable so I have 8 separate red Rings???
I don't want to move the Box between left and right when I don't need these Tracks between.

I have been thinking of another way, if that split thing wouldn't work:
Maybe it's possible to let Live think that my Launchpad has 24 Rows insteat of 8, and just assing the MIDI-signals of Row 1 to Track 1, Row 2 to Track 4, Row 3 to Track 7 etc.
Maybe some of you know how to do this. That'd be great!

It's not important if it works with Launchpad95 or if a have to use the original Launchpad Scripts.

I hope you guys did understand what I mean, my english is not the very best ^^

i don't like your chances. why not just re-organise your tracks in Live?

We have an Exclude MaxforLive device as part of our LaunchSync series, it allows you to only launch specific tracks with the Scene Launch Buttons...

It's not currently natively supporting the launchpad but it can be used with MIDI mapping...

it's not as Simple.

The Tracks 1, 4, 7, 10 etc are grouptracks in my setup.

When i start a slot in Track 1, both clips inside track 2 and 3 start.
Then i "crossfade" between these clips with another controller by Livid.
Works great.

I could just fold this Track-group but then i dont see which clips i play.

You know what i mean? ^^

So when I disable for example Track 2, does the second Row of my Launchpad then represent Track 3?

No you would just be launching all but track 2 with the Scene Launch button....

I think you'll need to get into Python for what you want to achieve, i'll ask my guy if it's even possible?

Maybe there is a way to let ableton just use the group tracks for the focus ring.
So it ignores subtracks

Hi, this is functionality that is in progress for my Gridlock controller, but a) is probably end q2/q3 for release, and b) is Max for Live - not sure if that will help you out

I try to get out of the way of M4L because I want to keep User Mode 1 and 2 and Mixer Mode of the launchpad

There'll be a version of Gridlock by then that'll allow you to run in Max standalone and have access to User 2 also, but you'll still need M4L for running the Live control portion.

Alternatively, I can look into whether it's feasible to produce a custom script for you, but this will be charged... If you want me to look into this then shoot me a message at services@sigabort.co
