Workarounds for looping in warped clips?

I have ambience-clips playing that shouldn't be warped and should remain playing at all times. I want to alter master tempo by using tap tempo, while the clips are still playing.

Is there anyway to achieve this?

You can't loop clips without warping.
If you warp, the clips are affected when using tap tempo.
If you loop using follow action, the follow action quantization is count by measures and bars, the length of which is changed when tapping new tempo.

Any ideas how to loop raw clips and change master tempo while doing this? It doesn't matter if the play head would jump around but the loop start and end should remain the same so the loop still works.
