Oscillot Alternative?
So for anyone who has played with (or even just aware of) Max for Cats product Oscillot, I have stumbled upon another product: Bidule.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this product, and if it may be a viable alternative to Oscillot (which of course is Live only and must be purchased through ableton). On initial glance it seems pretty sweet.
Thoughts?

I have played with BEAP. It's a bit heavy on the programming end with a steeper learning curve than Oscillot, which is why Bidule looks interesting. I have a bit of a programming background but my patience (or lack thereof) gets in the way.

BEAP was originally created for the specific purpose of teaching analog modular synthesis techniques. That's why the inputs and outputs of each of the devices are scaled to the equivalent of a 5v signal, to mimic hardware.

I will definitely give BEAP a second look then. I wasn't sure how Bidule stacked up. Thank you for the info.

Love it... simple, excellent entry level stuff for those new to modular synthesis. Awesome!

Happy it worked out for you! The developer used to do donationware years ago. Eventually he charged for it but those who donated got a free license... I guess Karmafx
It actually sounds very good too IMO
