question for people who own focusrite scarlett 212 using mac

1. If your mac is already running and you plug in the interface do you have to restart the computer in order for OS X to see the interface.
2. Does the usb plug lose connection with the slightest movement of the plug
3. Does your interface make loud popping noises when the os finally discovers the interface?

Are there any fixes for these problems other than what is on the focusrite product page?

I have an 18i20 and the answer is no to all of those questions. I don't think it should do those things.
