I am a Live9 user doing an all improvised live looping setup. I am able to control my live set with the midi that I have but wanted to add some automation for building tension. Is there a simple way to create a clip and draw in automation for an effect in another track? Would I be better off creating buses and doing the automation there? I currently have all tracks as sends only, not for any particular reason. I would really like to avoid midi yoke if I could. It causes buzz saw sounds when I use other midi controllers. Is there latency involved with his tracks as opposed to sends?
