iOS Synth Audio Recording

Post by DeeJay1657 » Fri Jun 19, 2015 5:53 am

Just curious because I bought the Animoog app for my iPad,
how would I set it up so I can record the audio from the app into Ableton?

I use iConnectMidi4+. It's a bit of a pain in Windows because I have to use ASIO4ALL to get the audio in, but once I have the audio recorded, I can switch back to my RME drivers while arranging/mixing.

It also functions as the MIDI brains of my entire studio.

It does for most things, but the headphone jack does affect the audio a little bit. The iConnect option is nice if you want to keep it all digital, otherwise you'd almost need a seperate soundcard for the iPad.

SO say if I didnt have an Audio Interface that has Line In, what kind of adapters would I have to buy in order to use it with audiomux?

It should work with the Apple usb cable that came with your iPad.
It couldnt be as simple as pluging the iPad into my computer (using audiomux) could it?
