A lovely podcast on creativity and inspiration
http://www.radiolab.org/story/117294-me ... -and-muse/
This is mostly about writers talking about writing. And then there's Tom Waits. Jad and Robert of Radiolab (I'm a fan) talking about the creative process and inspiration. Wonderful.

I agree, it's a great segment. I've (unfortunately rarely) experienced the effect of things just going so right that it's almost scary, like it's someone else taking over my playing or composing, and other times when I couldn't hit the right note to save my life. I've never thought of treating inspiration as a personification and making deals with it. I'll have to try that (although I don't think I'll make a deal like Oliver Sacks didre:dream wrote:A lovely podcast on creativity and inspiration
