How does one save changes to Midi Learn as defaults?

If I was to use configure and get a mapping for Kontakt or Pro-C or whatever, by saving it as default would I be able to close it and open it again and have those mappings saved to the plugin itself without having it open the whole time as a default Ableton template?

Save it as a special file template if that's your worry. Create a Folder on your hard drive etc

You can try File / Collect All and Save

You can save the Kontakt mappings (and any others that you create) into the Browser for easy recall anytime.

Seems you need to read the manual a bit. Video tutorials etc
