Inputting sound into ableton for launchpad mini mk2

So yesterday I bought a launchpad mini mk2 and I was having trouble being able to input wav files into live 9 lite and being able to play them on my launchpad under user 1 (6)..What usually happens is I will put the files in live and they will only be playable under session mode (5) and when I press on the the button where the sound is located on the launchpad the inputted sound is constantly being played...basically all I want is to be able to play wav files under user 1 mode and not to have a delay when I press the button

Drag in a drum rack.

Drag the samples into the drum rack.

Arm the channel.
