Slow livesets - too many VSTs - solution?

Hi!

I got too many VSTs in my master chain which makes my livesets super slow. Is there a way to deal with this?

Disabling the effects rack still loads the VSTs, so I reckon the only solution is to create a temporary track, move over the effects rack from master and then freeze it?

Yikes. How many VSTs must you have in your master chain to make it slow?

Is the slowness you are talking about slowness in loading, or latency while playing?

Well, the slowness is both when loading and when playing / designing my tracks. i feel it's gotten to a point where its holding me back,making me dread having to open up my livesets:(

i guess ill just make a temp track and call it "Master - Frozen"..
