I've done two things this afternoon.
1. Installed OverBridge
2. It seems Ableton has auto-updated me to 9.2.1.
Now... I seem to be missing ALL my presets.
Years worth of soft-synth presets gone, all my external instrument presets gone. This is really terrible. Just when I thought I had all my Ableton issues sorted. Good lord. What next?
Any ideas?
Wonder if I am the only one experiencing this?
9.2.1 and OverBridge = all my presets are gone?
Re: 9.2.1 and OverBridge = all my presets are gone?
I hear you. I know that on a basic level. But... I swear I spend most of my spare time just sorting out software/hardware issues instead of making music. Highly discouraging.tedlogan wrote:just wait a little bit.

Hope this helps anybody else that may be having this issue.
I had to go to Preferences > Library, and reset the Location of User Library.
For me I had to hit Browse and go to Users/myname/Music/Ableton/User Library/
For some reason, not sure if it was updating to 9.2.1 or installing Elektron OverBridge, but this path got corrupted. Now I have manually reset it and all my patches and racks and presets are showing again in the Live browser. Just another fun monthly Ableton mystery to solve. Woo hoo.
