Re: New Computer
I´m on a MAC and staying in the Apple mafia.
Yes I´m gonna buy 1 of those refurbished too and save a little cash.
But my question was more referring to how to install Ableton the best way, library, plug ins and so on.
Any tips or things i should consider?
Thanks!

Re: New Computer
..Apple mafia..lol..like it!
First I'd check the compatibility of any 3rd party software with your OS, especially Yosemite.
Most people would say install the apps on your mac and the sound libraries on an external drive.
Depends on your internal HD size
Also. if you can afford it, get at least 512gb internal storage.(especially if it's an SSD)
Hope this helps.
Cheers

@Jmouse
Thanks for the tips, unfortunately I can´t affort the 512gb SSD and have to go for the smaller option.

Really, you can't afford to not go for the SSD. Beg, sell, work extra. You won't regret it. It's like night and day in difference.ringo kid f wrote:@Jmouse

Re: New Computer
The smaller option being 256 gb flash, think I´ll be alright.
