Blacked Out Notes

Post by flachboard » Thu Sep 03, 2015 12:37 am

All my notes turned black on a track, and I can't get them to be red again so that I can adjust or create notes. I know I accidentally hit something, but I'm not sure what. Can anyone help?

RIght click on the clip and choose activate clip, see if that works.

Or could it be that the envelope tab of the clip is open? That would turn the notes black and make them un-editable.

Thank you! Mine was blacked out because I had the clip's envelope selected

I've got the same problem. I dropped the Audio Effect "Utility" onto a drums MIDI track and all my notes went black. I have no idea how to turn them back on again. Any ideas?

I figured it out. You have click on "View" on the menu toolbar then click on "MIDI Note Editor". You can also use the hotkey combo Alt + 1. Hopefully this helps someone.
