Is there such thing as a "sample window" that can be moved?

Is there such thing as a "sample window" that can be moved?

Hello,

I have made a lot of remixes with Ableton, involving lots of cutting up of clips.

I have always done this by plopping the full sample source (a full music track, or whatever) far later in the Arrangement timeline, placing a marker on that sample and a marker on the remix that I am creating, and I get back and forth between them by binding the Next/Previous Marker buttons to my mouse.

This gets really tedious, because I can't look at the sample source and my track at the same time, and I need to keep moving back and forth.

Is there such a thing as a "sample window" that I could drag over to my 2nd monitor, allowing me to ALWAYS have the sample source in view, while I am creating a remix, even while other samples/etc are highlighted?

Thank you for any help.
