Thought I'd share this again... I was laughing pretty hysterically when I accidentally started doing this to this specific track.

Surprisingly, less than half the people I've shown it to recognized the track I was mangling.

as a user of Surface Pro's since the first one (and even teh samsung win8 tablet since win8 beta release), it's fucking annoying to not have proper touch support (even just basic one) in ableton live. one can't turn any knob or move any fader with a finger or a pen. it instantly goes to min or max, nothing inbetween. it's been years.

it's. a. shame.

it seriously reduced the amount of times i even open ableton anymore massively. unusable.

i'm playing around with bitwig now. the multitouch and pen support is just awesome. i have no clue about the app other than that yet, but.. the touch.

i really wish ableton would get it's act together. i don't even need multitouch. single touch would be okay (not good, but okay).. if one could at LEAST use it at all with touch.

If you know how to make an Options.txt you can add tablet support.

add the folowing line to your options.txt file:

-absoluteMouseMode

thanks for that, have to test this out later. obviously it's just a hack, not a solution. but, well, it cant' get worse..
