Because electronic musicians can't co-operate? Just because you need to be drunk to jam doesn't mean everyone else won't see this as a very useful production tool.

you still cannot rename any parameters nor banks for Push.

And that is so odd to leave out as it's a night and day difference in usefulness. What good are parameter names like Synth..1.DevideSHkjle....125?

Agreed, here. Pastels, all the way, and I think it would be fair enough if the different shades kind of cycled, so that the first clip you record got the track's colour, and then the X next ones got various shades of that colour, until the palette for that colour was exhausted, and the cycle started again.

Excellent suggestion. Please post it to Feature Requests.

It's not all on the website. If I'm wrong, tell me where to find it. Where is this glorious section of the website where Ableton informs us of exactly what content is new and where to find it exactly? Please school me. There's nothing with me; I'm a huge Ableton fan-look at my info, I've been faithful for quite awhile. You have to admit, it's not exactly easy to get info from them. But if history is any indication, I will calm down, spend a little more quality time with 9.5, and somehow end up with a Push 2. Speaking of financing a Push 2, who wants to buy a practically brand-new Octatrack for $1000? :wink:

No, I have to side with you against my unfounded optimism. This level of detail isn't on the web site and we have to go explore ourselves, which is of course a good approach. This kind of multiple level improvements that you are interested in may make a very boring list of changes. Nevertheless I think some would find it useful.

Abes... Amazing work.... I've been having temper tantrums about 'Time Stretch / Pitch Shift in Simpler / Sampler' for 10+ Years. Glad it is finally done. I'm very happy with this release.

Live 9.5 is not compatible with the auto update in live 9.2.3 so you will have to manually download Live 9.5 from your account page.

For the new Max4L plugins you have to go to Ableton website and go in the Packs page. Download the Max for Live Essentials pack this is the pack put together by Ableton.

Sounds to me as if you're already using a specific default preset. You should be able to check this if you go into your user library, then expand 'defaults'.

The only way I can reproduce this is by dragging in a preset from my old Live 8 library.

D'oh! I have probably stored a default preset with a slightly lower Q setting. Cheers
